Yes. Merge, split, images to PDF, page reorder, hidden-data cleaning and opening protected PDFs are free with no limits. Pro tools (editor, signature, forms, OCR, redaction, compression, password protection, table export) are a one-time purchase — no subscription.
Yes. Redacted pages are rasterized and rebuilt, so the text under a black box is removed from the file, not just covered. Hush verifies this before saving.
Yes. The OCR engine (Tesseract, English and Turkish) is bundled inside the extension. Scanned pages become searchable without leaving your computer.
Yes. Hush shows the author, dates, XMP, attachments and scripts a PDF carries and removes them in one click, with a before/after report.
Partially. It extracts detected tables to CSV/XLSX and plain text to .txt/.docx. Page layout is not preserved; it is not a full PDF-to-Word converter.
