The short version

Hush PDF processes your PDF files entirely on your own device. Your documents, their names, their contents and anything you do with them are never uploaded, transmitted, collected or seen by us — ever.

What the extension does with your files

All PDF operations (merge, split, page editing, compression, export, watermarking, batch processing) run locally in your browser.
The extension makes no network requests during any PDF operation and works fully offline.
The extension requests only the browser's storage permission, used to remember your settings and your Pro purchase status on your own device. It has no access to your browsing history, tabs or other websites.

What we collect

Nothing. Hush PDF contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no advertising. We do not operate any server that receives data from the extension.

Payments (the single exception)

If you choose to buy Hush PDF Pro, the purchase is handled by ExtensionPay with payment processing by Stripe. This is the only situation in which the extension communicates with an external service, and it happens only when you explicitly start a purchase or restore. ExtensionPay may ask for your email address to verify your purchase; Hush PDF itself never sees your payment details and does not create an account. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. The core promise — your files never leave your device — will not change.
